Born In, Made In - Tea India (2020)

Tea India came us to with a promise. To deliver the freshest, most robust tea leaves from the best tea estates in Assam, India, that were made in America. And a gap in a market that was crammed with imports from the Indian subcontinent, which often ended up losing flavor over their lengthy transcontinental travels — a crucial factor for the perfect chai.

The solution: Born In, Made In. Their teas were born in India but made in the US, just like their main target group, Indians immigrants who craved the flavors of home while building their lives in America. We emphasized on the freshness of their teas while playing up its authenticity, values deeply cherished by Indians and Indian Americans. The social media campaign invited users to share their story and the website create a seamless connection with brand, which, in more ways than one, was just like them. Now that’s some piping hot tea.
