Yashica Dutt is an award-winning creative and writer. Her commercial work has translated into several successful campaigns for clients like State Farm, Mass Mutual and Humana, and won trophies at The Telly Awards and Summit International Awards.

With experience from some of the most exciting global agencies, and a degree from Columbia Journalism School, she creates exceptional ideas that are informed by her South Asian heritage, empirical rigor and a creative hunger for bringing out the best from each brief.

In over a decade and a half of her career as a writer, Dutt has worked with brands focused on insurance, lifestyle, finance, travel, health, beauty, wellness, fashion and pop-culture. As a problem-solver, Dutt draws creative satisfaction from injecting authentic insight into her ideas and tailoring them just right for the brand’s needs.

A wiz from pitch to execution, Dutt finds herself most at home in a meeting room, often dazzling clients with her presentation skills, thanks to her extensive public speaking experience. She lives in Brooklyn.

In addition to her commercial work, Yashica Dutt is also the author of an award-winning, best-selling non-fiction book titled Coming Out as Dalit.

Her writing has been published in the New York Times, The Atlantic and Foreign Policy Magazine, and she has given dozens of talks at country’s major universities including Columbia, Berkeley and Harvard.
